Sozopol

Sozopol is a small charming town founded 2600 years ago and it offers diversified conditions for spending an unforgettable holiday.

The resort offers four beaches: a central town beach, a new town beach, the “Kavatsite” camping site and the “Golden Fish” camping site. The fine golden sands, the water sports and the shallow waterside make them a strong attractive center for tourists of all ages.

The old town offers unique images of the Bulgarian Renaissance houses and bears the atmosphere of the past. The renovated archeological museum, where antique objects from the “Town of Salvation” may be seen, is located in the center of the town.

The cobblestone streets, the fig trees, the artists, the family restaurants and the beautiful sunsets approbate the opinion that Sozopol is the most romantic place along the Bulgarian seaside.

Further to sun, sea and active night life the tourists may touch the Bulgarian art, represented by the multitude of galleries and exhibitions in the open air as well. In addition to that the national festival for culture and arts “Apolonia” is annually organized from 1 to 10 September, which collects the most prominent representatives of the Bulgarian music, art of painting, literature and sculpture.
